New hockey team is Chill

ONALASKA - Junior hockey at the OmniCenter became a reality this afternoon. It also got a name, logo and colors. Mark Motz, owner of the North Iowa (Mason City) Outlaws and Onalaska Community Development Authority chairman Mike Gargaro signed a five-year lease agreement at a press conference today. The Coulee Region Chill will begin play in the North American Hockey League at the OmniCenter next September. The team's primary colors will be blue, black and white.
